Noah Yang - Kinesiologist

profile picture Noah Yang

Hello! My name is Noah (he/him). Growing up I always had a passion for sports, mainly volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and snowboarding. In 2013, I suffered a concussion that resulted in post-concussion syndrome (PCS), which I still live with today. Throughout my years of rehabilitation with physiotherapists, neuropsychologists, kinesiologists, physicians, and more, I gained a deep level of insight on what it is like to go through recovery. This experience carried me through my Kinesiology degree at UBC and has enabled me to be an empathetic Kinesiologist who takes a holistic approach to treatment.

I have worked with people of all ages, ranging from children to folks in late adulthood, and prioritize creating a safe environment where everyone feels comfortable and confident. During my time with BC Ambulance Services, I realized the great need for guiding folks to living an active lifestyle, which is what led me here today. I will give you the tools, the education, and the guidance to empower you to take charge of improving your health and wellness and reach your goals.

Outside of work, you can find me gripping my chalky hands on a boulder (yes, I love rock climbing!), lifting heavy objects and putting them back down in the gym, or reading in a cozy cafe.

Jessica Tse, RMT

The human body is amazing. It lets us grow, move, heal, reproduce, and maintain life. We are capable of learning about our body’s anatomy and function in order to provide the necessary care to keep us going. Self care is one important aspect in our health and livelihood. Self care can increase our happiness, energy levels, concentration, and is able to reduce our stress. Most times we are constantly on “go go go” mode, and we don’t stop and take the time to let our bodies relax.

We massage therapists can provide a detailed assessment, treatment, homecare, and extensive knowledge to help benefit our patients. Whether it’s for rehabilitation or relaxation, massage therapy can provide guidance to restore and strengthen each and every one of our patients. Providing treatment and care for her patients in order to decrease their pain while restoring function, is what inspired Jessica to become a Registered Massage Therapist.

Jessica is a graduate of the Registered Massage Therapy Program from Vancouver Career College in Burnaby. She has experience working in the student clinic with all different types of patients but is not limited to those with diabetes, hypertension, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, dislocation, and thoracic outlet syndrome. Jessica uses swedish massage, trigger point release, stretching, and myofascial release techniques to help reduce tension in the surrounding muscles and to gain mobility in the affected joints.

In Jessica’s free time she loves being outdoors and staying active. She enjoys hiking, yoga and pilates, paddle boarding, and travelling. She has a big love for food, and often goes to various coffee shops and cafes. She also bakes during her free time and has a big sweet tooth.
